She holds a master’s degree in Pediatric Nursing and attended and accomplished the short course of Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and Currently she is conducting online short course about Essentials of Nursing Sick Children from University of Cape town. She started her carrier of teaching in 2012 in former School of Nursing and Midwifery of Kibungo Campus, while from 2017 up to 17th, October, 2022, she was based in UR / CMHS / SoNM, Huye campus in Advanced Diploma and currently she is an Assistant Lecturer in UR / CMHS / SoNM / Remera Campus in Master’s program, Pediatric track.
Regarding research profile, she is interested in Maternal and Child Health research area. She has participated in research conducted and published in 2022 in Rwanda Medical Journal entitled “Knowledge and Utilization of Contraceptive Methods among Secondary School Female Adolescents in Rwamagana District, Rwanda”.
Currently, she is participating in ongoing research about ‘’ Unwanted pregnancy and associated factors among adolescent female aged 15-19 years old in Eastern Province,
Rwanda’’. Founded by CIRHT-UM Research Grant Modules taught: When she was at Huye campus, she participated in delivery of different modules such as Child Health Care and was its module leader, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Fundamentals of Nursing II, Fundamentals of Community Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Care and all Clinical practice modules.
Currently, she is teaching some modules in Master’s program such as Essentials of Pediatric Nursing, Advanced Pediatric Health Assessment, Advanced Health Assessment, Global
patterns of Health and Illness, Pathophysiology and Clinical Management, Clinical and Applied Pharmacology, Pediatric Nursing Clinical I. Regarding students’ supervision, she is among the assistant lecturers that conduct clinical teaching of students of pediatric track in different clinical practices and supervise research dissertations of students.
